Positive Pay Enhancements

We’re pleased to announce that over the weekend of April 22, 2022, your positive pay accounts will be converted to an enhanced Check Positive Pay system to improve the security of check payments. Learn more about this update, dates to remember and things you can do to prepare.

What’s Changing

Addition of Payee Match: Our current Check Positive Pay service validates checks presented for payment against accounts using two factors: check number and amount. With the payee match enhancement, a third factor will also be validated.  Positive Pay users will include the payee’s name information in their check file uploaded to Home Bank.

A check with a mismatched payee name will be rejected as an exception and presented for a “pay” or “return” decision, similar to checks that have a mismatched check number or amount.

New Website Look: On Monday, April 25, you can access the enhanced Check Positive Pay system at www.home24bank.com. Once you are successfully logged into Business Online, Positive Pay can be found on the home page under the Accounts section.

Whether you are accessing from a desktop, tablet or smartphone, the experience will adapt to your device. You can also expect a fresh look and feel with improved navigation making it easier to find the information you need.

Note: Access to pay or return an exception item through Home Bank’s Business app will no longer be available following this enhancement. Please see the attached User Guide for details.

Important Dates & Things To Do

Friday, April 22: Positive Pay services will be available at www.home24bank.com until 11 a.m. CST Friday, April 22. Please decision all exceptions and upload any outstanding issued check files prior to 11 a.m. CST, April 22, 2022.

Monday, April 25: You can begin accessing the enhanced Check Positive Pay system at www.home24bank.com to upload new issued check files and process daily exceptions.
