Home Bank Grants Funds to Four Northshore Nonprofits Through Employee Giving Program

Home Bank’s employee giving program, Home Bank Helps, granted funds to four Northshore area nonprofits in 2020. The program allows nonprofits and schools to apply for grant funds for unique projects and service programs.

This year, the Northshore grantees included the NAMI St. Tammany, whose mission is to increase awareness and advocate for families and persons with mental illness.

The St. Tammany Library Foundation was also a grant recipient. The Foundation planned to use grant funds to expand public internet service across the region.

In addition, the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency (LOPA) was also a 2020 grant recipient. LOPA planned to use grant funds to support community outreach efforts and to manage and increase the donor registry database.

Finally, Big Sky Ranch/CATNIP Foundation was a recipient in 2020, and the organization planned to use funds to expand facilities to care for animals in need.

The next Home Bank Helps grant cycle will take place in spring of 2021. Local nonprofits and schools will be able to apply on Home Bank’s website at www.home24bank.com.
